Hey, I'm not sure who started this WRJ cartoonists community board (Sean and Penina and Bryan, I think?), but it's cool. As you know, I can't view the CCS board(s) so I never know what's going on and I get to feeling pretty disconnected from everybody. It can be pretty frustrating knowing there's this big community of cartoonists like 10 feet away and feeling like I'm not a part of it. I came from a pretty big, yet tight-knit, community of cartoonists in Brooklyn and one of the main draws to moving here was that I thought I'd have this ready-made community to drop into. That hasn't really been the case, and it's been pretty painful and depressing at times. Not to mention that I'm awkward and shy, kind of un-social, and I can come off as a bit stand-offish.

Whoa, didn't mean to go off on such a tangent. Guess it comes from being a neophyte to board-posting, yet having a long history with the secret internet diary world known as livejournal.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks. And welcome aboard. To me.
