We've got one of these over on the CCS board... but I thought it'd be useful to have one where everyone can, you know, actually see it.
This is the list Robyn's keeping up over there, and I can copy changes on it to here:
CARPOOLS:
Robyn - Departs WRJ Thursday 6pm, Departs Bethesda Sunday morning. 2 seats available.
Lucy - Departs WRJ Thursday afternoon. 3 seats available.
HOTEL ROOMS:
Robyn - One full bed and floor space to share for Thurs, Fri and Sat. 1 mile from the convention.

And here's my repeat post from the other board!
Gonna throw this out there... my dad is having a surprise birthday party on the Sunday of SPX weekend... and I'd like to surprise him by being there.
So:
1. Will anyone be driving through/near NYC/New Rochelle on Sunday?
2. Would anyone be interested in spending the evening in NYC and driving back at around 8 or 9? So that I can go to this and still be back here for class and work Monday, and you can do fun things in New York?

I'm renting a car, two seats available, leaving Thursday (time flexible). Heading back sometime Saturday or Sunday (time also flexible).
Have a hotel room near the convention with a double bed available.
Would need anyone coming with us to split the cost of car and room (got a great deal on both, though!)
Might stop for a night at Josie's parents place on the way up to see llamas. Wouldn't be opposed to a New York side trip, though I'd wanna park and take the train into the city.

Colleen--if you're interested in the NY side trip, and if it's okay to not leave NY until about 9 or so (can push it earlier if need be), we can park in New Rochelle, where my aunt & uncle live, and there's a commuter train there that goes into the city (about 20 minutes, I think).
And I'd be happy to make a B'more stop, too. Still seeing if I'll be in on the hotel room... I'm waiting to hear my Baltimorian friend's plans first.
