Oct. 5th
Incredibly Strange Movie Night!
Join us this Friday night for some incredibly strange movies! More details to come.
Oct. 6th
The second CCS sponsored potluck! Last time was allot of fun. Everyone bring something to eat to CCS around 7:00. No cartoons this time, just ping pong and the awkward chatter of cartoonists!
Remember, CCS is providing soda and plates...and utensils, so we don't have to worry about that stuff.

Hey guys, how about we just get Moxie this time? Or maybe there's enough left over from last time. You know, there can never be too much moxie... As much as I pick on this particular variety of soda pop, the history of Moxie is actually quite fascinating... DID YOU KNOW that Moxie, not Coca Cola, was actually the first mass-produced soft drink in the United States? It was first marketed under the name Moxie Nutrition Food, I mean NERVE, Moxie Nerve Food, as medicinal cure for a range of ailments, including "softening of the brain" (imagine that...a soft drink to cure cerebral softening...ha cha cha!!) AND "loss of manhood." It was said to imbue the imbiber with "spunk." Loss of manhood...ingestion of spunk...makes sense, right? This stuff is too good to make up, people! It's all on Wiki. Check it out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MoxieI particularly enjoyed the Moxie mixer options. I know I'm ordering a "Welfare Mom" the next time we go to Elixir. Make mine a MOXIE!

ya, that sounds like a possibility to me...but i'll have to see. The bright side to all that soda is that there's plenty left for this potluck and I don't have to buy more!
Also, don't forget. Fashion show and after party @ revolution at 10 after the pot luck. with that in mind we should probably move the pot luck up til 6. of course, our unspoken...now spoken get there when you can rule is in effect.

Props to Bryan for posting this...
Just to dispel any possible confusion, the fashion show and dance party are actually both at the TIP TOP CAFE, not Revolution.
It's hot on the streets, banging in the clubs, people!

Oops, sorry guys, I kind of blew it on the time, so I guess it's good you pushed the potluck back an hour...
DOORS OPEN AT 9PM for the Fashion Show. Things don't usually get started until around 10, but seating is very limited, so show up early if you want a good spot.
Admission is $12. All proceeds go the Youth Cafe Project.
If you want to volunteer and thus get in FREE, let me or Kim know...
Oh, and bring your poncho, first few rows may get wet.
