(First I just wanted you all to know that I'm drinking water out of a can. Like, tap water. From five towns over. In a can. I don't know.)
The other night in Kurume-city, a couple of ex-pats and I ran smack into a game of street baseball, in which all participants were young Japanese men with bitchin' haircuts. In honor of all the summer activity at CCS, I have decided to form a STREET FOUR-SQUARE TEAM. We bought our chalk. All that's left is to stake out our turf. (And the outfits.... can't forget about the outfits.)
Anyway, if we get busted for creating an internationalization-sensation, know that I did it all for you guys.

Dude, that is awesome. In the literal and formal sense, I am in awe.
And since this is Japan, my natural prejudice expects that 4^2 will eventually be played with giant robots.

Let us just say.... this is the century of the Fashion Mullet. I am not kidding.
(OH MAN, EXISTO!.... I wish I could teleport. Explode those new kids' minds for me.)
UPDATE: WE TOTALLY HAD OUR FIRST GAME. It was threesquare, but don' mind (as the baseball players say.) We played joyously in a sand park to the sounds of a young corporate couple exchanging sweet nothings across a moped. Foursquare, love, and mullets.... what more do we deserve in this life?
