How about Komeda? Something from "The Genius of Komeda"?

neumunki.squarespace.com/the-small-planets-songs/ most of the mp3s are there. There are many unlistenable (though fun to do) songs on there. So far our most popular song has been "lepers forever." Our favorite is "ponies" but for some reason been never edited out all the extra middle stuff so it's super long and few can get through it.

Kris Komeda is my current fave, thanks to a Polanski film CD a friend sent me and a dub of a K. Komeda jazz album from the late '60s. That, and Captain Beefheart -- sigh. Nothing like Beefheart in his prime. "Big-eeeeeyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeed beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeannnsss from Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnuuussssssssssssssssss...." Oh my, oh my!
I also just hit my box of soundtrack CDs, and it's where I'll be steeping all August. Bernard Herrmann, Ennio Morricone, etc. -- lovely to draw to.
